We saw this in the trailer for WH1 with the Dwarfs! How is this not in the game yet?ĥ/10. That should be the place for defensive artillery, not somewhere further back in the city. The lack of artillery on the walls is also hugely disappointing. Make us build them like any other siege equipment and make the units actually have to carry them.

I'd really like to see ladders fixed before release. Both sides having roughly equal armies, the defenders should win almost every time at the walls stage. Attackers should be at a huge disadvantage until they overcome the walls and doing so should be difficult and require an overwhelming force. Walls should be THE thing keeping invading armies out. The expansion from one wall to three for this map is great and the ability to actually use the rest of the the city to your advantage is too, but walls still seem like little more than a speed bump along the way. Two things I was really hoping to see - artillery mounted on walls and a lack of magical ladders - aren't here.
